Founded in loving memory of Kathleen Frank Piglia, the When Dragonflies Appear Foundation provides a holistic approach to family support, grounded in the belief that a cancer diagnosis impacts far more than the individual — it touches every member of the family.
Inspired by a daughter’s love and a mother’s legacy, we walk alongside families as they navigate one of life’s most challenging journeys. Through funding for in-home care services and access to mental health resources, we help ease the emotional, physical, and financial burdens that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.
